InsightOut is an online training course for professional coaches and those who coach as a major part of their professional role. We combine the best of online asynchronous and live experiential learning practices in a nine-week/nine module format, helping you master the art of transformation by integrating the Enneagram into your coaching practice.

If you are an experienced coach who wants to expand your range and impact in your coaching, InsightOut™ is for you. Whether you work with individuals, teams - or both - InsightOut will help you grow yourself and your clients by integrating the Enneagram into your coaching practice. InsightOut is generally not for those who want to learn about the Enneagram in general and who do not intend to use the learning in a coaching capacity.

You probably guessed that InsightOut is a play on the phrase “inside-out”. The reason we chose this aligns with our philosophy about coaching - that coaching is an “inside-out” game. The more self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-authority we can foster in ourselves, the greater our capacity to help our clients do the same. Each InsightOut module starts with growing yourself as a person and as a coach using the Enneagram. Then, you learn how to apply the same mindsets, skills, and tools with clients. You’ll achieve all that with self-paced study and activities, practice coaching, a community of your coaching peers, and expert guidance from Monique and Cai.

We believe that we do our best work - whether that’s our actual job or when learning something new - in collaboration with others. InsightOut leverages this philosophy by bringing coaches together in community to learn as much from one another as you will from the curriculum or by interacting with your course leaders. To facilitate that, all InsightOut participants will become part of an online community platform. Course curriculum, livestream events, master classes, and peer-to-peer interactions will all happen there. You’ll be able to engage at the level that brings you the most value and interact with your coaching colleagues to trade ideas and grow your network.

Yes - in fact, this is our favorite part of InsightOut (and most likely will be yours too)! Every week of the course we’ll host one 90-minute community learning session (Tuesdays) and a 2-hour Live Learning Lab (Thursdays) where you’ll practice coaching using the mindsets, skills, and tools in that week’s module. We’ll also be hosting frequent community workshops around more advanced topics like typing, leveraging instincts and subtypes in coaching, and leading with the Enneagram. From time to time we’ll host live panel workshops with fellow coaches of different Enneagram types. As a community member, you’ll have free access to all these live resources for six months after you complete InsightOut.

We are in the process of applying for CCE units with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and we expect to know how many and what type (Competency and Resource units) by the start of the course. So although we can’t answer that definitively at the moment, we absolutely intend to have our participants earn CCE’s for attending InsightOut.

While we do not require participants to hold a coaching certification from an accredited coaching school or from the ICF, it sure is a good idea to have had some coach training and coaching experience prior to attending InsightOut. Why? Because we assume that you already know how to ask powerful questions, listen deeply, self-manage, work with values, etc. These are foundational skills (along with others) that we won’t be teaching in InsightOut.
